Membership Benefits for East Bay Council Schools
- The Tommy Bianchi Scholarship Fund is available to member school families for tuition assistance for 4 year olds.
- Discounted Group Insurance.
- Inter-School Communication via meetings, a Yahoo Groups page and email list, an all-school Network Night, a printed directory, a Teacher/Director email list, and an annual Teacher/Director luncheon.
- Parent Education Directory of Speakers, a comprehensive resource of excellent speakers to bring in to your school on a huge range of topics.
- Publicity via Advertisements and ebcouncil.org, all promoting the virtues of parent co-op preschools and the member schools.
- Membership to the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS), a statewide organization consisting of 13 regional councils, 200 schools representing 9,000 families.
East Bay Council membership costs each school $8 per family. ($5 of that fee goes to the Scholarship Fund, $3 to East Bay Council.) Additionally, each school pays CCPPNS $50 annually.
